Al-Hakeem Calls for Kuwait to Support
Iraq's Efforts to Exit Chapter VII

Ammar Al-Hakeem, in an interview in the weekly cultural meeting, on the
anniversary of the departure of Imam Khomeini, said that the Imam had
been known for his allegiance and association with the prophet’s
household (peace be upon them) ... and also had been known for the depth
and skill in decision-making in the most difficult circumstances.
Sayed Al-Hakeem, on the other hand, stressed
that the House of Representatives should take its full role in
activating the law of Justice and Accountability, adding that "We were
surprised at the size of penetration in the state institutions.” Sayed
Ammar Al-Hakeem stressed that there are efforts being made in order to
activate the United Iraqi Alliance. His eminence said that there is a
desire by the good forces to join the Alliance, adding that the visit of
the Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki to his eminence Sayed Al-Hakeem has
given great momentum to these efforts.
His eminence appreciated the early openness of
the State of Kuwait to Iraq since a decade and a half calling on them to
support Iraq's efforts to exit the United Nations Charter’s 7th Chapter.
