al-Hakim Receives a Bahraini Official
Badrtimes - His Eminence Sayyed Ammar
Hakim, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, early
Wednesday, the 30th of Sep 2009, met with Mr. Jassem bin
Ahmed Al Wafi, the deputy governor of the Northern Province of the
Kingdom of Bahrain accompanied by Bahrain's ambassador in Iraq, Mr.
Salah al-Maliki.
In the meeting, the historical relations between the two countries have
been discussed, besides the prospects that promote the mutual
cooperation which would serve the interests of the two brotherly
countries in various fields.
In addition, the delegation has expressed the Government and people of
Bahrain's condolences on the departure of Sayyed Abdul Aziz al-Hakim
(may God have mercy on him), referring to the leading role of his
eminence in preserving the unity of Iraq and in strengthening Iraq's
relations with Arab and Islamic countries.
On his part, his
eminence Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim has expressed his thanks to the noble
sentiments expressed by the people of Bahrain and its venerable
government, confirming Iraq's desire to develop its relations with its
Arab brothers and to be achieved a comprehensive development in the Arab
countries.
