The Rejecters of
the Federalism

From the first minutes after the collapsing of
Saddam's statue on 9 April 2003, Iraqis from
different social classes know thoroughly the groups
and parties which refuse any real change in Iraq,
which it was oppressed by tyrannical Saddam's regime
for more than three decades, furthermore, Iraqis
realize the reasons that force the rejecters to this
unjustifiable rejection, there is no explanation,
except they are slighting any progress, or hindering
any project, which it is in the end bolsters Iraq,
and will lead to extrication of Iraq from current
quagmire to another situation boosts its
complementary project for the operation of change
and development. Therefore, we find the focusing on
defining of what is known at the people is wasting
time, and it does not lead us to achieve the
long-sought goal in culturing and enlightening.
Therefore, the reasons which we see them clearly
from the parties which they are overtly refusing the
federalism, specifically founding of the province of
southern Baghdad, are because of the political,
intellectual indigestion of those parties and
movements which their political activities began
through the Iraq's fledgling democracy after 9 April
2003, although these parties have large numbers from
the masses, who were under multifarious types of
oppression and tyranny at the Saddamist era, also
these parties still do not care seriously about the
ways which ensure fulfillment of the ambitions,
hopes of those masses in promoting the political and
economical fields in Iraq, furthermore, these
parties until now do not realize the miserable,
catastrophic status of the Iraqi cites, and they do
not endeavor to supply suitable services and stable
climates for a good life without refusing the order
and laws which are considered illegitimate by their
political and religious leaders. Finally, the
political rejection from these parties for the
project of southern Baghdad province is nothing more
than illusions and misleading things which were
founded by Saddamist regime and planted in minds of
much of Baathist thought's sacrifices and those who
are endeavoring in one Arabian nationality. |
