The Federalism, The Iraqi Tribes' Demand

 The Iraqi tribes had a decisive role in drawing of the shape of the new Iraq's state since its inception in beginning of the twentieth century, in addition to its role in the developments and events through succession of a different Iraqi governments, and through the dramatic changes which has happened after toppling of Saddam's regime , in spite of the deterioration of Iraq during the rule of Baathist,fascist regime from 17Jul 1968 to 9 Apr 2003, but on the other hand the Iraqi tribes remained conservative and defender on its social texture, and it was interconnected with the other society classes ,and contributed in creating of the Iraq's original culture . Saddam's regime confronted tribes firstly by prohibition of usage of the family name (tribe name), also he nominated a fake tribe chiefs to substitutes the dissident original chiefs, but the tribes have challenged these savage measures .

After collapsing of Saddam's regime on 9 Apr 2003,  and the subsequent events of terrorism, in which some of the neighbor states' intelligence agencies were an accomplices in what happening in iraq ,they have sent terrorists and Takfirs to kill Iraqis, and were sustained by huge financing and invalid notions of sectarian killing. These barbaric actions have made the iraqi tribes oppose the terrorist viewpoints and deeds, and then they went ahead to defend the national unity which had been susceptible to the threat of terrorism and conspirators on the unified, democratic and federal Iraq project,so the salvation councils, popular committees and tribes' rising in Iraqi cities had an obvious role in deterring and inflicting of the Al-Qaeda's plans and Takfirs' gangs the most harmful blows and defeats, notably in the hot spots of insurgency and terrorism,  the conscious tribes have expelled Al-Qaeda's terrorists from their incubators . So these stances was a glorious page in the Iraq's contemporary history and a great contribution could not be deniable, that the tribes have a formidable influence on making of the flawless political structure for Iraq, which affects entirely the life affairs of Iraq's citizens . So the rising's conference for Iraqi tribes was convened in Al-Sulaymaniah city, most of the Iraqi clans and tribes' heads from all the country governorates have attended the meeting which become  a tribal political festival, they had debated the tribes role in the solidifying of national unity and their opposition to Iraq's partitioning plans.

They have called for the fulfillment of federalism on Iraq without delay, where they had called it as a constitutional necessity , article of federalism in Iraqi constitution should be achieved so as to the Iraqi People would practice their constitutional rights and freedom. This federalism would not be set up on racial or sectarian basis, and this would assure the building of the democratic, federal and unified state ,and it's distant from the denominational domination.

The tribes has supported an endeavors of Some of a famous politicians to gathering of political ,popular and professional efforts to confront the hypocritical demands which call for departure of multi-national forces  before completion of the arming of Iraqi security forces , strong national security forces is a people's demand for combating the criminal and unlawful gangs. Iraqi tribes have also emphasized on its opposition to moves of several politicians and mercenary movements which aim at aborting of the constitutional rule and institutional constructions ,this will destroy the order and law, in order to returning Iraq to the first step in the political process. also they have called for a fair elections for municipality councils, provided that the allegiance of members is for Iraq not for the sect or ethnicity which nominates them for membership ,thus the members should work seriously for the sake of  ensuring the existence of municipality services for people and contributing in rebuilding their cities and encouraging the investment that is represented in kurdistan's territory cities, notably Al-Sulaymaniah city.

The stance of Iraqi tribes to back this tribal carnival was a belief in inevitable fulfillment of their demands ,they had also appealed the United nations and international community to support its legitimate demands ,such as the support of political process and the establishing of the territories in the safe parts of Iraq ,to constitute the federalism.
